Custom Fabrication Capabilities
Some of National Plastics and Seals’ most popular custom plastic products include industrial supply dispensers, bulk food bins, advertising solutions, machine guards, safety guarding, routing signs, brochure and literature holders, trophy and memorabilia cases, and table tents. Along with our fabrication services, we also offer design and prototyping services (CAD designs and full-size prototypes).
Machining and finishing capabilities include CNC routing, laser cutting and engraving, drill pressing, pattern routing, heat bending, mechanical fastening, and silk screening. Material options include polycarbonate, Sintra®, polyethylene terephthalate, polypropylene, high-impact polystyrene, and PVC.
The color choices span the rainbow, with clear, white, red, blue, yellow, green, black, bronze, gray, and fluorescent options available, as well as green edge, which looks like glass. Custom hues can be requested as needed.
Plastic pieces are joined with solvent bonding, tape, and hot air welding, and finishing options include flame polishing and hand buffing. Materials can be up to 2 inches thick by 8 feet long by 5 feet wide. Laser engraving can be done on pieces that are 18 inches by 24 inches; laser cutting can be done on materials up to 3/8 of an inch thick.
National Plastics and Seals can handle a wide range of order volumes, from single prototypes and low-volume orders to high-volume and blanket orders. Lead times depend on the specific request, but can be quoted on a job-by-job basis, and emergency and rush services are available.
